If you have a problem with the battery life of your stages (battery is empty after a really short time, maybe 2 days), usually there may be two small problems.

The first is that the battery door may not be fitting correctly. Stages have updated these with a better material and they will send you a new one on request. Therefor you should contact the stages support.

The second fix is something they are now doing from the factory:
In order to improve the connection of the battery to the circuit board, Stages recommends to bend the negative battery terminal about 20 degrees upwards. You can do that with a knife or your fingernail. Please see reference photos below:

If the connection is not tight enough this can prevent the power meter from entering sleep mode.

If this doesn’t work, you should contact the stages support directly. They are really fast, helpful and competent.
